Description We are on the hunt for a Sr. Accountant to be an integral part of our team located in Denver, Colorado, 80205-4098, United States. As a Sr. Accountant, you will be working within the IT Software industry, with a focus on maintaining financial records and performing various accounting operations. This role offers a long term contract employment opportunity.
Responsibilities:
• Undertake account reconciliation tasks to ensure accuracy and consistency in financial data
• Execute balance sheet reconciliations to verify that all financial transactions are appropriately accounted for
• Carry out bank reconciliations to validate our financial records align with bank statements
• Maintain the general ledger and ensure it reflects accurate financial transactions
• Prepare and post journal entries to keep our financial records up-to-date
• Utilize Microsoft Excel for managing, analyzing, and presenting financial data
• Handle month-end close activities to finalize financial transactions for the month
• Operate NetSuite, Oracle, and SAP for various accounting and financial operations. Requirements • Applicant must have a minimum of 5 years of experience in the field of accounting, preferably within the IT Software industry.
• Proficiency in Account Reconciliation is required.
• Demonstrable experience with Balance Sheet Reconciliation is necessary.
• The candidate should be adept at performing Bank Reconciliations.
• Proficiency in maintaining and managing the General Ledger is a must.
• The ability to prepare and record Journal Entries accurately is essential.
• The candidate must be proficient in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience in Month End Close procedures is required.
• Familiarity with NetSuite software is necessary for this role.
• Experience with Oracle accounting software is a must.
• The candidate should have hands-on experience with SAP accounting software.
