The Boeing Company is looking for a Senior Strategic Pricing Analyst to join our team in Denver, CO; Plano, TX; or Seattle, WA.

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Strategic Pricing Analyst to join our team. This role will have the opportunity transform our current pricing models into SaaS pricing models. You will work closely with product owners, sales and marketing to align models based on the value our Digital products provide to our customers. As a Senior Strategic Pricing Analyst, you will play a critical role in developing and implementing new SaaS pricing strategies that drive revenue growth and maximize profitability. You will be responsible for analyzing market trends, competitive landscape, and customer behavior to develop pricing models and strategies that align with our business objectives. Your expertise in SaaS pricing models will be instrumental in designing and optimizing our pricing structures and ensuring our products are competitively positioned in the market.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Develop new tiered SaaS pricing models based on the value our capabilities provide to our customers

  • Conduct in-depth analysis of market trends, competitive landscape, and customer behavior to identify pricing opportunities and risks

  • Develop and implement pricing strategies that align with business objectives and drive revenue growth

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, and finance, to gather insights and develop pricing recommendations

  • Utilize pricing software to analyze pricing data, perform scenario modeling, and optimize pricing structures

  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of pricing strategies, making recommendations for adjustments as needed

  • Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and emerging trends in SaaS pricing models and pricing optimization techniques

  • Provide guidance and support to junior pricing analysts, fostering a collaborative and high-performing team environment

This position is hybrid. This means that the selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at one of the listed location options. This is at the hiring team’s discretion and could potentially change in the future.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Finance, or a related field

  • 5+ years of experience developing SaaS pricing models

  • 3+ years of experience conducting trend analysis and basic statistical modeling

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Master’s degree or higher

  • 10+ years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience

  • Experience writing SQL Queries

  • Experience with PROs or PriceFx

  • Experience with R or Python

  • Experience developing and implementing successful pricing strategies that drive revenue growth and maximize profitability

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, and experience translating complex data into actionable insights

  • Experience using business acumen and understanding of market dynamics and customer behavior

  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with experience effectively communicating pricing recommendations to stakeholders at all levels

  • Experience working collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment and managing multiple projects simultaneously

  • Experience working under tight deadlines with strong attention to detail

Typical Education & Experience:

Senior (Level 4)

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 9 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD+4 years' related work experience, Master+7 years' related work experience, 13 years' related work experience, etc.).

Senior (Level 5)

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 14 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD+9 years' related work experience, Master+12 years' related work experience, 18 years' related work experience, etc.).

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Summary pay range (Senior Level 4): $118,150 - $159,850

Summary pay range: (Senior Level 5): $150,450 - $203,550

This position will remain open through May 6th 2024
