The IT Senior Software Engineer is responsible for designing and developing software solutions.

The Senior Software Engineer designs, creates, maintains, audits, and improves software applications by performing coding, debugging, testing and troubleshooting throughout the application development process. They design solutions for complex projects in a collaborative team environment. They mentor less experienced engineers and make recommendations for future development options. This person is an advocate for making improvements and working with the team to accomplish goals.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Researches, designs, implements, and manages software applications based on user requirements.

  • Write automated tests for various levels (unit, integration, end-to-end) to ensure code quality and reliability.

  • Maintains and develops existing applications by analyzing and identifying areas for modification.

  • Works within an Agile environment, respond to change quickly, including re-focusing development efforts and adapting to evolving requirements.

  • Is positive and solution-oriented with team members and stakeholders.

  • Continues to update technical knowledge and skills.

  • Provides guidance to other engineers.

  • Coaches and mentors other team members.

  • Is an influencer.

EDUCATION:

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.

EXPERIENCE:

7+years of related experience.

Required proficiency in: C# .NET, Visual Studio, Angular, MongoDB

  10. Strong knowledge of some/most of the following technologies considered a plus:

  • Playwright

  • Git

  • Azure DevOps

Salary Range: $110,000-$120,000
