CACI's Wireless Solutions division is looking to hire a Senior Manager, Project Management. The role will enable seamless communications and collaboration with transparency, consider team workload balancing, and project complexities when assigning projects to an independent, proactive, project management and project operations team of professionals.

Wireless Solutions has a diverse mix of projects that include engineering development, proof of concept, quick reaction tasks, sustainment support, field operational support fix and repair, along with other research or investigation tasks. Our project management team supports full-service development contracts, including procuring and tracking materials, working with an engineering team to scope work, assign resources, and help remove roadblocks to meet our customers’ hardest problems within budget and schedule.

The Opportunity:

  • Enable project management team members to do their best work, free from distractions caused by outside factors that may impact productivity.

  • Drive best practices in bid process management.

  • Interact with contract managers and finance personnel.

  • Member of the Wireless Solutions leadership team.

  • Leadership voice that informs and escalates concerns that require management assistance.

  • Develop consistent customer messaging as required.

  • Provide staff opportunities to support cross functional teams and programs for work diversity.

  • Collaborate with program office and engineering operations leadership team.

  • Maintain best business practices that align to CACI policy.

  • Support and help champion a newly selected resource management tool with roll-out schedule and next steps as the management team begins assessing it’s cost management capabilities.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for management, performance, and completion of direct projects, tasks, or delivery orders.

  • Responsible for building and managing a highly skilled project management team (8-10).

  • Responsible for maintaining bid and proposal template; any major updates require test and verification prior to rollout.

  • Coordinating proposal activities as needed and assign proposal manager support.

  • Assign internal work during transitional periods to ensure the project management team is focused on tasks that move our business forward in a positive direction.

  • Ensure project resource plans are maintained and communicated to engineering members and that people managers are informed on a recurring as needed basis.

  • Maintain the responsibility assignment matrix and project management role and responsibilities that map our project delivery guidelines for project execution (CACI’s Delivery+ Framework).

  • Create and implement standard processes and reporting, where possible, across Wireless Solutions programs helping promote efficiencies.

  • Participate, as required, in portfolio forecast planning sessions.

  • Identify project risk areas and support mitigation plans.

  • Review forecast plans for new opportunities and assign a project manager to begin award preparation with engineering, when appropriate.

  • Admin support for staff requesting SharePoint Program and Proposals accesses.

Qualifications:

Required:

  • Minimum 10 years of project or program management experience.

  • Hold (BA/BS) degree or equivalent in work experience.

  • Minimum Secret clearance to start, applicant needs to be able to obtain and maintain TS/SCI clearance.

  • Ability to travel to support leadership or customer meetings as needed, approximately 10% per quarter.

  • Demonstrated leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Desired:

  • An active TS/SCI clearance.

  • Experience developing technical response for RFP/RFQ/Technical Task Statement of Work.

  • Full understanding of project lifecycle management.

  • Demonstrated knowledge of defense contracting, accounting, and cost management practices.

  • Ability to create, brief, and present data that influences change.

  • Familiar with C4ISR, US DoD, and the US Intelligence Community.

Pay Range : There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications. Since this position can be worked in more than one location, the range shown is the national average for the position.

The proposed salary range for this position is:

$86,800-$191,000
