Summary / Role Purpose Join the Ansys Customer Excellence team to partner with our customers to engineer what's ahead, solve their real-world engineering problems, deploy Ansys software and solutions in their design workflows, and grow Ansys' business. The Assessment Lead is responsible for overseeing the design, development, and administration of various assessments. They work closely with assessment development teams and subject matter experts to ensure that assessments are valid, reliable, and aligned with organizational goals and objectives. Serves as the central focal point of contact, and coordinates and manages internal and external communication of cross-functional teams across all levels of ANSYS and customer management throughout the assessment process. Provides the central collaboration point between Customer, Account Management and Services Delivery. The Assessment Lead is a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and effectiveness of assessments. They oversee the assessment development process, ensure assessment quality, collaborate with stakeholders, and provide guidance and support to assessment development teams. Candidates for this role should have strong analytical skills, knowledge of assessment design principles, and excellent communication skills.
Key Duties and Responsibilities Lead the assessment development process: The Assessment Lead is responsible for overseeing the design and development of assessments. They work with subject matter experts to ensure that assessments are aligned with learning objectives and accurately measure knowledge and skills. Manage assessment administration: The Assessment Lead is responsible for managing the administration of assessments. They ensure that assessments are administered in a fair and consistent manner, and that test-takers have the necessary resources and support. Ensure assessment quality: The Assessment Lead ensures that assessments are valid, reliable, and meet industry standards. They monitor and analyze assessment data to ensure that assessments are effective and identify areas for improvement. Collaborate with stakeholders: The Assessment Lead collaborates with stakeholders such as instructional designers, trainers, and educators to ensure that assessments are integrated into learning programs and aligned with organizational goals. Provide guidance and support: The Assessment Lead provides guidance and support to assessment development teams and stakeholders. They provide feedback on assessment design and administration and assist in the development of training materials for assessors and test-takers. Establish self as a trusted advisor to multiple customers; understand their key business initiatives, product design needs and engineering design workflows Manage and track project resource alloca ions, timelines, and deliverables across multiple interconnected workstreams Communicating assessment status to individuals or groups; meet with clients, colleagues, or supervisors to discuss the findings, provide feedback, and develop strategies for improvement. Providing recommendations based on the results of projects for further training or development. Work independently within multi-disciplinary teams Organize and manage multiple assessments which are complex in nature Maintaining records of projects, including results, feedback, and recommendations to further improve internal processes and methodology Staying current with the latest tools and techniques, as well as industry trends and best practices. Attend conferences, workshops, or other training opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.
Minimum Education/Certification Requirements and Experience Bachelor's degree or master's degree in engineering and/or business or related field Required minimum years of professional experience in an engineering software or product development environment: BS+5, MS+3, or PhD+0 Experience working in engineering / product development environment Knowledge of assessment design principles and practices. Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret data. Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with stakeholders. Strong project management skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Proven stakeholder management skills. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to lead status presentations to customers, fluent in writing and speaking English Strong organizational and time management skills, possesses a sense of urgency Projects a professional image and demonstrates business acumen, driven to succeed Strong leadership and mentoring skills Ability to travel up to 25%-50% of time
