Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Sr. Backend Developer with a strong foundation in NestJS, Docker, and Google Cloud Infrastructure. The ideal candidate should have a keen interest in Graph Databases and GraphQL, and be eager to work on cutting-edge technologies in a collaborative environment.

Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain backend services using NestJS.

Design, implement, and manage Docker containers for microservices deployment.

Work with Google Cloud Infrastructure to build scalable and secure cloud-based applications.

Explore and integrate Graph Databases such as Neo4j or ArangoDB into our stack.

Develop and optimize GraphQL APIs for seamless data interactions.

Troubleshoot and optimize backend performance, security, and scalability.

Collaborate with frontend developers, DevOps, and other stakeholders to build robust applications.

Stay updated with industry best practices in backend development, cloud computing, and graph-based technologies.

Skills and Requirements

Requirements:

Experience with NestJS: Understanding of modular architecture, dependency injection, and TypeScript.

Docker Proficiency: Creating and managing containerized applications.

Google Cloud Knowledge: Experience with Cloud Run, Kubernetes, Firestore, or Pub/Sub is a plus.

Interest in Graph Databases: Willingness to work with and learn about Neo4j, ArangoDB, Dgraph, etc.

GraphQL API Development: Ability to design and implement GraphQL queries and mutations.

Basic understanding of database design (SQL/NoSQL).

Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently. Nice-to-Have:

Experience with CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).

Knowledge of authentication mechanisms (OAuth, JWT, etc.).

Familiarity with serverless architectures. null
