Job Description:

We are seeking a Procurement/Purchasing Specialist to join our dynamic team and report to the Service Department Manager. This company's business is predominantly based in the US (80%) with some international presence (20%). While international experience is preferred, it is not mandatory. The ideal candidate must have experience with RFQs and ideally possess manufacturing and engineering support experience.

Responsibilities:

• Receive requests and demands from customers

• Identify suppliers to meet the specific needs of our customers

• Send requests for quotations (RFQs) to suppliers

• Send quotations to customers

• Place purchase orders to suppliers and establish specifications

• Monitor supplier progress with orders and update customers on progress

• Manage and track the Service Department budget

• Handle customer relations and ensure customer satisfaction

• Follow up on shipments

• Invoice customers

• Track payments from customers

• Track payments to suppliers

• Exercise strong common sense and sense of initiative

• Be well-organized and extremely rigorous

• Possess above-average communication skills

• Ability to read and understand mechanical drawings

• May need to travel a few times a year to visit customers and suppliers

Qualifications:

• Procurement and purchasing experience

• Excel experience

• RFQ experience

• Experience with shipments

• Customer service skills

• Manufacturing support experience

• Engineering support experience

• Ability to read mechanical drawings

• Detail-oriented

• Independent worker

• International experience is a plus

Work Environment:

This role is fully on site in Lakewood, CO. The work environment is driven and fast-paced, looking for go-getters to join the team. There is almost no travel required. Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $34.00/hr.
