Mott MacDonald uses the "Project Team" approach to efficiently manage and complete projects on time and within specified budgets. We are looking for a power transmission/distribution and generation business leader to join our team to support the expansion of our client base and provide every client high-quality, cost-effective services in the timely and responsive manner that makes the difference for our clients.

Responsibilities

You will responsible for opening new and utilizing existing client relationships using your experience and visibility in the energy market and connections with major energy developers, utilities and EPC contractors. Using your status within the industry we anticipate you supporting the identification, development and planning and helping to position for major power transmission and generation projects. It is anticipated that you will bring an operational and project execution background with a strong connection to the C-Suite level supported by connections in the market.

As one of our senior leaders based in the Denver area, your duties will also include working with the appropriate Mott MacDonald personnel in a zipper approach to execute our Energy Networks business plan, helping shape and evolve our team and working with our overall energy leadership team in the expansion of our business.

Types Of Projects Include Combinations Of

Electric Transmission and Distribution Renewable Generation - onshore and offshore

To be successful in this senior Energy Networks role, you will need the following qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent field. At least 20 years of experience in one or more of the following roles: Utility Developer, Consulting engineering firm Contractor Relevant government entity Strong leadership, interpersonal, communication, documentation, and technical skills are required Network of C-Suite / business leader connections supporting your visibility in the energy market Possess sound judgment Highly developed management, organizational, interpersonal, presentation/training Excellent oral and written communication skills Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills Resolve complex issues and maintain effective working relationships Ability to prepare and interpret complex reports, recognize problems, and define and evaluate solutions Reside in the North East area or ability to relocate immediately
