Job Description
General Description:
This position will be responsible for working with the Retail Consulting group, part of CS4I, to provide support to the consulting sales processes. The position involves coordination with other groups within Oracle. This role is important in applying and upholding the consistent and rigorous business practices of Oracle within the RGIU.
What will you do:
Providing support to the consulting sales teams globally to pull together bid documentation to facilitate approvals for the contracting process.
This includes:
Working excel files, writing clear and concise scope statements, reading terms and conditions, understanding where approvals are required by comparing against Oracle standard documents and creating other bid documentation as required.
Providing quality assurance to bid packages coming from Consulting Sales or Practice Mangers.
Ensuring consistency of processes globally for the teams and helping to localize where necessary.
Monitoring the bid packages and escalating or pushing them through as necessary to get the contract into the client’s hands for review.
Interacts with Deal Management, Legal, the Management line of business, Risk Management, Business Practices, Resourcing, Operations, Tier approvers and other shared support groups to facilitate quick execution of the internal sales process and to resolve miscellaneous issues as they arise.
Your Experience:
Knowledge of Oracle internal consulting business procedures (desirable)

BA/BS degree or equivalent
Location/Workplace Considerations:
This position supports a global group, so working outside of standard business hours should be expected from time to time.

Responsibilities
Provide direct project management support for the delivery of high quality, competitive proposals to Oracle external prospects. Typical tasks may include: provide direct project management support for the delivery of high quality, competitive proposals. Develop win themes, maintain liaison with external partners and integrators participating in joint operations, analyze proposal to determine delivery specifications and preparation outlines, analyze Evaluation Criteria, develop Feature/Benefit tables, create Storyboards, provide direction regarding compliance with statutory, regulatory and commercial business guidelines provided by prospective and established customers, plan and create text/graphics preparation and control environment for virtual collaboration by internationally disbursed teams, establish and manage the proposal submission schedule, develop proposal preparation instructions, create compliance and author response matrices, develop writing instructions for authors, plan and conduct project kickoff meetings, manage the execution of the proposal development plan, contribute to and/or write executive summaries, establish document version control methods, create document review directions and procedures, manage review and edit cycles, coordinate the final assembly and delivery of proposal, review final proposal for compliance and responsiveness.

US: Hiring Range in USD from $41.83 to $85.63 per hour; from: $87,000 to $178,100 per annum. May be eligible for equity.
Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle’s differing products, industries and lines of business.
Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.

Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position. Accrued Vacation is provided to all other employees eligible for vacation benefits. For employees working at least 35 hours per week, the vacation accrual rate is 13 days annually for the first three years of employment and 18 days annually for subsequent years of employment. Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.
