Amazon Partner Account Manager, US Federal - Large SI, Strategic Aerospace & Defense Partners in Denver, Colorado

Description

We are seeking a self-starter to drive revenue generation in a division of one of AWS's largest Global Defense Partners. The role requires a team player with focus on increasing awareness and adoption of Amazon Web Services by engaging with internal stakeholders directly to reinvent their IT strategy and mode of mission delivery by adopting and delivering cloud computing solutions.

AWS Sales, Marketing, and Global Services (SMGS) is responsible for driving revenue, adoption, and growth from the largest and fastest growing small- and mid-market accounts to enterprise-level customers including public sector.

As a Partner Account Manager for Amazon Web Services (AWS), you will have the exciting opportunity to be on a team that will shape and deliver a strategy to build mind share and broad use of Amazon’s utility computing web services including Amazon EC2, Amazon S3, Amazon Amazon RDS, Amazon etc.

This position requires that the candidate selected be a US citizen and obtain and maintain an active TS/SCI security clearance.

Basic Qualifications

  • 5+ years of full sales cycle, technology sales or equivalent business development, sales engineering/consulting or equivalent experience

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with sales CRM tools such as Salesforce or similar software

  • Experience in engineering, computer science, or MIS

  • Experience driving new business in greenfield accounts at the C-suite level or equivalent

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $83,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $177,800/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. This position is eligible for variable pay via a sales compensation plan. These plans pay according to achievement level against sales targets and/or business objectives. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
