The Denveroffice of SmithGroupis looking for aLighting Design Internto join our team.
Working with us, you will: Work on integrated architecture and engineering project design teams. Produce electrical design drawings using the latest design software. Compile data and prepare design solutions. Prepare calculations utilizing AG132 software. Participate in design meetings. Receive mentorship from experienced lighting design professionals. Visit a construction site(s) and/or completed project sites.
An ideal candidate has: Completed at least their sophomore year or have graduate standing in an accredited electrical engineering, architectural engineering or lighting design program by the time of the internship. Relevant course work in lighting design along with an interest in lighting within the building industry. Some experience with current design software such as Revit, AutoCAD, 3ds Max, AGI32 and the Microsoft Office Suite.

SmithGroup's competitive compensation and benefit package is designed to meet the needs of a diverse staff. The anticipated salary range for this position is $18.75 to $21.60 hourly, at the time of posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the anticipated salary range for this position. Additionally, an employee in this position is eligible for a performance-based bonus on an annual basis.
