Founded in 1982, The Learning Effectiveness Program (LEP) is an internationally recognized fee-based program at the University of Denver that provides individualized support for over 400 neurodiverse learners with Learning Disabilities, and/or attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), students on the Autism Spectrum, and students who have a history of learning differences. LEP provides students with comprehensive programming that includes the following components: academic counseling, tutoring, social-skill building, executive functioning support, and student leadership opportunities. The mission of the LEP is to support learning and neurodiversity by providing students opportunities and resources for personal growth, academic skill building, and connection. and connection.
Position Summary
The LEP Enrollment & Office Manager is responsible for the enrollment of process of the LEP including coordination, planning, and implementing of prospective student visits, maintaining the online application process and evaluation of the application as well as the contract, maintaining accurate and up to date files and billing in partnership with the departmental leadership and budget officer. This position maintains counselor caseloads lists, attends campus events including the resource fair during Discoveries Orientation, admissions student visit days, and other events that market the LEP. This position manages the logistics of LEP, such as ordering supplies, reserving space, on-boarding new staff, managing the website, etc. The position oversees, supervises, and evaluates the front desk operations including staffing responsibilities for front desk coverage and assuming responsibilities of the front desk Monday through Friday from 8 -

Essential Functions
Campus Collaboration
- Partner with representatives from the Office of Admissions to streamline communication with the University enrollment process and policies and the LEP admission process
- Coordinate, communicate, and implement LEP prospective student visits in partnership with the LEP team and the Office of Admission, including open houses and other admission events
- Present to and collaborate with the offices within the Division and across campus to create access to the LEP program for students (first generation, international students, etc.) who may not have previously had access to the type of support the LEP offers
Partner with the AccessibleDU: Student Disability Services (SDS) to refer families for accommodations, tutoring/testing room sharing, and additional testing space and coordination during finals Financial Responsibilities
Coordinate and manage the LEP application, application evaluation, intake and contract processes
- Develop a checks and balances system centralizing the fees, refunds and pro-rated refund process
- Streamline communication and record keeping of refunds with the Bursars Office and Financial Aid Office
- Communicate with the Financial Aid Office to determine the funding available from the endowed funds for yearly LEP scholarships
- Meet as needed with the LEP Leadership, the Office of Advancement, and divisional business officers to keep up to date with LEP financial information and scholarship fundraising
Complete monthly expense reports in an accurate and timely manner Clerical & Administrative Duties
Oversee clerical and administrative functions, including maintaining files, ordering supplies, recording minutes in staff meetings, and supporting staff with software and technology needs
- Create and maintain a tracking system to collect data regarding enrollment, attrition, retention, medical leaves, student demographics, LEP scholarship aid, and other reports as requested, sharing patterns, trends, and forecasts with leadership
- Collaborate with LEP's pre-orientation programmers to provide accurate
