Genetec Inside Sales Representative in Denver, Colorado
Location: open to candidates located in Colorado/the Denver metro area; Phoenix, Arizona; Seattle, Washington
Your team’s dynamic:
The Inside Sales Representative will be responsible for nurturing partner relationships in an assigned territory to develop pipeline and drive revenue growth. This role focuses on understanding partner needs, providing solutions, and ensuring consistent growth of partner accounts. You will have experience in sales, relationship management, and a strong ability to develop technical system designs.
What your day will look like:
Develop and maintain strong relationships with partners, nurturing their growth and ensuring a preference to lead with Genetec's solutions
Coordinate learning paths and ongoing training for partners to ensure they are well-equipped to succeed
Responsible for business planning and conducting performance reviews with customers to drive long-term, profitable growth
Proactively assess, clarify, and validate partner needs on an ongoing basis, ensuring alignment with Genetec’s offerings
Support transactional business including creating small- to medium-sized system designs and associated BOMs
Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to partners and end-users
Forecast, manage, and report on ongoing sales activities and pipeline to ensure consistent account growth
Manage partner accounts for transactional growth, supporting partner efforts in end-user meetings and demos
Liaise with technology partners to support product integration and address technical inquiries
Follow up on leads assigned to partners to ensure timely engagement and effective conversion
Stay informed of the competitive landscape to alleviate risks and proactively position Genetec as the preferred solution
More about you:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is preferred
3+ years of experience in sales, account management, or a related role, preferably within the technology or security industry
Strong relationship-building and communication skills
Proven track record in partner management, sales growth, and delivering excellent customer service
Ability to work cross-functionally and manage multiple stakeholders
Proficiency in forecasting, business planning, and performance management
Ability to understand complex technical concepts and translate them into business value for partners
Willingness to travel occasionally for partner meetings and industry events
Ability to navigate different partner needs and pivot strategies as necessary
Takes the initiative to identify opportunities for partner growth and acts upon them
Understands partner challenges and is committed to providing solutions that help them succeed
Take full ownership of partner relationships and outcomes. Continuously look for ways to improve processes, learn from mistakes, and drive positive results
Skilled at managing complex relationships, influencing partner actions, and negotiating successful outcomes
Focused on achieving targets and driving positive outcomes for partners and the organization
