The HR/Benefit Analyst role within DaVita's benefits team is designed to compile complex data sets, produce ongoing regular and ad hoc reporting, generate insight, and help draw conclusions and recommendations about DaVita's benefit plans and programming. The Benefit Analyst is the source for detailed knowledge regarding DaVita's benefit programs relating to eligibility, internal processing; working closely with many teams across the Village and outside vendors. The role would have a focus on assisting the administration of medical, retirement, LOA (leave of absence), and all voluntary benefit programs.

This position reports to the Benefits Manager.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES The following duties and responsibilities generally reflect the expectations of this position but are not intended to be all-inclusive. Produce ongoing regular and ad hoc reporting Assures compliance with all applicable state and federal regulation In depth knowledge of DaVita benefit programs & eligibility Identify trends and propose potential analysis for insights Make recommendations based on data findings Participate in projects and programs, prioritizing work based on changing demands Create automated reporting and improve on existing reporting whenever possible Seek to improve existing processes and programs Ensure the integrity of sensitive, confidential data In depth knowledge of payroll processing Develop proficiency in one software tools like Excel, Workday (or other HRIS), Tableau, Alteryx, or other tool for reporting and analysis Explain complex, technical issues in a simple, effective way Collaborate, guide, and provide expertise to internal and external business partners Build strong partnerships with stakeholders within and outside of the team Onboarding new vendor partners

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Education, licenses, certifications, and experience required to fulfill the essential duties, include computer skills as required. Bachelor's Degree required in business, economics, engineering, finance, mathematics, statistics, human resources, or other applicable quantitative or management related field. 1+ year in a business environment, gathering and using data to solve business problems. Management consulting or similar experience a plus. 1 year of experience in database querying and/or Workday preferred. Strong critical thinking and analytical skills. Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple duties at once Self-starter and willingness to ask questions and solve problems Experience working with multiple data sources to generate insights from analyses, answering questions, and creating solutions. Strong written and verbal communication skills; experience collaborating on project teams, managing relationships with vendors and clients. Excel proficiency required. Previous use of Alteryx or similar data analysis tools and software preferred but not required Intermediate skills in Word, Outlook and PowerPoint required. 1 or more years of related Human Resources experience preferred.
