Health Solutions Senior Vice President - Large Market Account Executive - Denver, Irvine or LA offices - Hybrid

The Health Solutions Account Executive will be a key contributor and leader for large market clients. The role involves responsibility for benefits consulting and vendor management for assigned clients, including placing insurance and coordinating the assigned client team. This position will have frequent interactions with clients' HR, Benefits and Finance executives regarding the delivery of benefits consulting services and broader strategic discussions.

What the day will look like

The Health Solutions Senior Vice President - Large Market Account Executive will be a key contributor and leader for large market clients. Aon defines large market as employers with 5,000+ employees. This role will lead the client team and work collaboratively with that team of subject matter experts. Senior leader and Account Executive supporting clients in the Denver and Southern California Markets. Develop employee benefits strategies, lead sophisticated benefits consulting projects, manage vendors, develop client reports, lead external meetings and internal resource coordination Maintain and grow long-term client relationships through excellent service Display an in-depth understanding of the Health and Benefits marketplace, as well as Aon's Health and Benefits practice Participate as needed on internal projects and initiatives that advance the knowledge and skills of Aon's Health and Benefits practice Possess experience and expertise in benefit plan design, rate analysis, strategy, RFP development and response review, insurance carrier negotiations, stewardship report preparation, benchmark analysis, client financial analysis and reporting and carrier contract reviews Demonstrate excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal collaboration skills Exhibit leadership in business judgment in anticipating client/project needs and developing alternative solutions Form and lead effective teams, share client background and goals, measure results, share ideas, identify process improvements, provide timely and regular coaching and feedback to team members Lead all aspects of vendor negotiations Act as strategic resource for colleagues Exhibit thought leadership-understand and be able to articulate ideas to clients Be willing learn about other Aon solution lines and introduce to clients as appropriate Partner and collaborate with other business partners for growth, strategic direction, and client service. Assist practice leader with driving colleague engagement and proactively building and maintaining a talent pipeline. Network with external senior talent across the industry to strengthen the practice. Focus on leadership development by serving as a mentor and coach. Work with other Health Solutions, Human Capital and Risk Capital leaders to better understand our clients' current and future challenges and use that information to explore potential solutions. Manage a book of business and expand overall client relationships. Skills and experience that will lead to success Fifteen plus years Health and Benefits background Six-plus years of consulting experience preferred Client facing experience at a consulting company, insurance company, brokerage o in the Health and Benefits discipline. Complex project management experience. Broad business knowledge/perspective Team building skills Business development experience Life/Accident/Health insurance license (or ability to obtain license after hire) Education: Bachelor's degree in relevant field or equivalent years of industry experience
