Robert Half General Manager in Denver, Colorado

Description We are in search of a General Manager to lead our team in the bustling hospitality industry in Denver, Colorado. This role involves overseeing daily business operations, creating and implementing business strategies, and ensuring the highest standards of food safety and quality in our restaurant. Offering an exciting opportunity, this position requires the management of staff schedules, payroll, and other administrative tasks, as well as the promotion of our brand within the local community.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee and provide leadership in all aspects of the restaurant

• Design and implement strategies to promote the attainment of business goals

• Ensure the highest standards of food safety, hygiene, and quality are upheld

• Develop and implement service procedures and standards to enhance customer experience

• Review staff performance regularly and provide constructive feedback to improve productivity and efficiency

• Supervise and coordinate restaurant staff, including recruitment, training, and managing schedules

• Manage restaurant budgets and financial plans, and take appropriate actions based on the review of financial reports

• Ensure compliance with licensing, health, and safety regulations within the restaurant

• Promote the restaurant brand within the local community through various events and initiatives

• Oversee the estimation of consumption, forecast requirements, and maintain inventory effectively. Requirements • A minimum of 7 years of experience in a management role, preferably in the restaurant industry

• Proven track record in leading and managing restaurant operations

• Proficiency in restaurant management software, POS systems, and digital ordering platforms

• Demonstrated ability to handle and resolve conflict in a professional and tactful manner

• Strong understanding of health and safety regulations within the restaurant industry

• Excellent leadership abilities with experience in team management and staff development

• Superior customer service skills with the ability to handle customer complaints effectively and professionally

• Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays

• Strong financial acumen with experience in budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting

• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

• Ability to multitask and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software

• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think on your feet.
