What’s the job?

Are you passionate about creating a safe and compliant working environment within a dynamic manufacturing setting? If so, we're looking for an experienced Environmental, Health, and Safety Specialist to join our team and help us maintain the highest EHS standards.

The EHS Specialist will work within a team environment and help us maintain the highest EHS Standards, your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Develop and conduct EHS training for employees, vendors, and contractors to ensure their awareness and compliance with safety protocols.

  • Develop and implement EHS programs and policies to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements.

  • Provide guidance and support to management and employees on EHS-related matters, fostering a culture of safety and responsibility.

  • Participate in risk assessments and assist in implementing control measures to mitigate identified risks.

  • Support site 5S initiatives through scheduling audits and reporting results to enhance organization and cleanliness.

  • Ensure compliance with internal and external EHS regulations.

  • The EHS Specialist will work within a team environment to develop and conduct EHS trainings for employees, contractors, and vendors to ensure awareness and compliance with EHS policies and regulations. Participate in risk assessments and help implement control measures to mitigate identified risks, conduct safety audits, provides guidance and support to management and employees on EHS related matters.

What do you bring?

  • A degree or equivalent experience in Environmental, Health, and Safety, preferred

  • Certification as a safety and health official or a related field, preferred

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience working with internal or external customers in a business setting, required

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience working in an industrial manufacturing or healthcare environment, required

  • Proficiency in computer skills, MS office, required

  • Ability to understand and interpret engineering drawings, preferred

  • Action oriented proactive and ability to anticipate needs, required

  • Ability to form and work in teams

Pay Transparency

Certain states require pay information be provided in job postings. The national pay range for this position is $29.48 to $41.27 per hour, however, the base pay offered may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.

In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for an annual bonus.
