DaVita's procurement team also known as PRISM (Procurement, Risk reduction, Innovation, and Supply Management) is on a multi-year journey of transforming our procurement, strategic sourcing, and supply management processes to be the best for our patients and partners. We are looking for an innovative leader with strategic thinking and project leadership experience to join our leadership team.

The Director, Special Projects will be an ambitious and results driven leader who will act as a business partner and liaison between PRISM, Operations, Information Technology (IT) and key clinical and business stakeholders.This role shapes business strategy, aligns capabilities and delivers quality solutions to meet goals and achieve successful outcomes for the Village. This leader will report to the Senior Director, Operations Excellence and support projects and initiatives across the portfolio, including multi-year strategy, operating mechanism development and deployment, and Procurement technology.

Responsibilities: The following duties and responsibilities generally reflect the expectations of this position but are not intended to be all-inclusive. - Understand, assess, prioritize and validate business demands and requirements through direct interaction with business stakeholders and proactive analysis for opportunities to standardized, save cost and meet business needs - Collaborate with corporate (Atlas) and field leaders to develop and implement forward-thinking improvements that advance DaVita's ability to optimize our supply management capabilities and visibility in order to reduce risk to our patients, teammates and enterprise - Monitor metrics, track progress of initiatives, and prepare presentations for senior management - Align business group and Village needs and the impact on business processes to establish to strategic priorities -Act as 'general athlete' to support projects / initiatives across the Procurement portfolio - Directly support the VP of Procurement on executive special projects, content development, and project phasing - Prepare and present meaningful updates to senior leadership - Ability to identify gaps and connect the dots across siloed organization - Travel required up to 10%

Qualifications: - 10+ years of strategy development and / or project execution - Experience as a Director or Manager Experience with procurement, supply-chain, strategic sourcing, project management preferred
