Responsible for strategic planning, departmental and team goal realization, and budget management aligned with the annual operating plan. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Has oversight of multiple infrastructure and operations managers, spanning across one or more IT areas. Defines long term strategy, and guides team to align business needs with IT technologies and processes. Executes on BFS IT Infrastructure and Operations' strategy, improves the efficiencies and delivery processes of technology infrastructure. Standardizes the current support and delivery processes to provide excellence in support to users/ clients and identify opportunities for process or system improvement. Continuously monitors, measures, and reports on the efficiency and effectiveness of system processes. Develops processes and procedures necessary to ensure the availability of services and select business processes. Works with internal IT leaders to discuss, document, and prioritize process workflow and automation objectives as they pertain to installation, configuration, maintenance performance monitoring activities, etc. Leads research and analysis on emerging service delivery and support technologies and determines how to integrate the new service management products into the technology environment. Determines vendor selection frameworks, and the cost-benefits of making the selection, supports large/ significant vendor negotiations. Works with various infrastructure and operations teams across the enterprise, across multiple sites to understand and align their end-to-end service delivery process needs. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university. 12+ years relevant work experience. Or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
