Robert Half Desktop Support Analyst in Denver, Colorado

Description We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for a Desktop Support Analyst in Denver, Colorado. This role primarily involves providing technical support across the organization, managing hardware and software configurations, and troubleshooting various technical issues.

Responsibilities:

• Provide technical assistance and support for incoming queries related to computer systems, software, and hardware.

• Handle configurations of desktop systems and applications, ensuring optimal performance.

• Utilize Cisco and Citrix technologies to support network infrastructure and virtualization efforts.

• Maintain and manage the company's database, ensuring data integrity and security.

• Leverage Dell technologies for server management and hardware issues.

• Handle user access control and account management through Active Directory.

• Support and manage Apple devices across the organization, ensuring seamless connectivity and usage.

• Implement and manage backup technologies, ensuring data safety and recovery.

• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to computer hardware and peripherals.

• Stay updated with the latest technologies and implement new systems and hardware when necessary. Requirements • Proven experience in a Desktop Support Analyst role or a similar IT support role.

• Proficiency in Cisco Technologies and Citrix Technologies.

• Solid knowledge of Computer Hardware, including Dell Technologies and Apple Devices.

• Experience with Database management and Configuration Management.

• Familiarity with Active Directory and Backup Technologies.

• Ability to troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve technical hardware and software issues.

• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to prioritize tasks.

• Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts in an understandable manner.

• A commitment to ongoing professional development and staying updated with the latest advancements in the field.

• Ability to work collaboratively in a team as well as independently.

• Strong organizational skills, with the ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks.

• A professional and proactive approach to work, demonstrating responsibility and reliability.
