My client is a steadily growing subcontractor based in Denver looking for their next Controller! This Controller position is offering competitive benefits, a fun team environment, and is offering up to $90K + bonus!

Primary job duties for the Controller include:

• Guide all operations of the finance department, including accounts payable, billings & collections, and payroll

• Manage the timing for monthly billing and other cash management techniques to make sure cash collection is on time

• Perform tasks associated with month-end and year-end close of income statement and balance sheet, account reconciliations & G/L analysis

• Preparing and submitting financial statements

• Assisting with annual audits

• Processing payroll for under 100 employees

• Analyze, apply and improve policies, procedures, controls and most methodologies

• Handle daily cash management and produce cash-flow reports, calculating cash needs at weekly and monthly intervals

• Assisting with annual budget preparation

Requirements

Requirements for the Controller include:

• Strong accounting experience including AP/AR, bank recs, journal entries, month end, financial statements, etc.

• Experience doing sales & use tax for a subcontractor

• Experience with ComputerEase is nice to have

• Experience processing payroll is nice to have
