Description We are seeking a Collections Specialist to join our IT Software team located in Denver, Colorado. This role primarily involves outbound correspondence, phone calls, and follow-ups on outstanding Accounts Receivable balances. This position offers a long-term contract employment opportunity.

Responsibilities:

• Handle outbound correspondence related to collections

• Make phone calls to follow up on outstanding AR balances

• Conduct root cause analysis to identify issues leading to outstanding balances

• Perform reconciliation work to ensure accurate record keeping

• Execute collections for commercial accounts

• Utilize accounting software systems for efficient processing

• Manage assigned tasks and other duties as directed

• Maintain detailed records of collection processes

• Execute billing functions as necessary

• Ensure adherence to Accounts Receivable practices and procedures. Requirements • Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems

• Experience with Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Familiarity with Billing Functions

• Knowledge of Collection Processes

• Experience in Collections - Commercial

• Ability to perform Account Reconciliation

• Strong understanding of the IT Software industry

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• High degree of accuracy and attention to detail

• Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks

• Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask

• Ability to handle confidential information responsibly

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
