Sinclair Broadcast Group Business Development Representative in Denver, Colorado

As a Business Development Representative (BDR) at Compulse, you will play a crucial role in driving business growth by identifying and engaging with local media companies and advertising agencies. Your primary responsibility will be to build and nurture relationships with these key stakeholders who are interested in leveraging digital marketing services such as CTV, programmatic display/audio/video, and other solutions offered by Compulse. You will be responsible for generating new business opportunities, setting meetings, and ultimately contributing to the expansion of Compulse's client base.

Responsibilities:

  1. Prospecting and Lead Generation:

  2. Identify and research potential media companies and advertising agencies in the local market.

  3. Utilize various channels including cold calling, email outreach, social media, and networking events to generate leads.

  4. Qualify leads based on their needs, interests, and fit with Compulse's services.

  5. Building Relationships:

  6. Initiate contact with key decision-makers at target companies and agencies.

  7. Build rapport and establish trust through effective communication and relationship-building efforts.

  8. Understand the unique challenges and objectives of each prospect and position Compulse's services as solutions to their needs.

  9. Setting Meetings:

  10. Schedule and coordinate meetings, presentations, and demos with qualified prospects.

  11. Clearly articulate Compulse's value proposition and offerings during meetings to drive interest and engagement.

  12. Pipeline Management:

  13. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all prospect interactions and sales activities in the CRM system.

  14. Track and manage the sales pipeline to ensure timely follow-up and progression of opportunities.

  15. Collaboration and Communication:

  16. Work closely with the sales and marketing teams to align efforts and optimize lead generation strategies.

  17. Provide regular updates on prospecting activities, pipeline status, and market feedback to the sales leadership team.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field (preferred).

  • Proven experience in business development, sales, or account management, particularly within the digital marketing or advertising industry.

  • Demonstrated success in prospecting, lead generation, and setting meetings with key decision-makers.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage and build relationships with diverse stakeholders.

  • Knowledge of digital marketing trends and technologies, including CTV, programmatic display/audio/video, and other digital advertising solutions.

  • Goal-oriented mindset with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.

  • Self-motivated, proactive, and able to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

The base salary compensation range for this role is $50,000 to $60,000. Final compensation for this role will be determined by various factors such as a candidates’ relevant work experience, skills, certifications, and geographic location. Full time positions are eligible for benefits that include participation in a retirement plan, life and disability insurance, health, dental and vision plans, flexible spending accounts, sick leave, vacation time, personal time, parental leave and employee stock purchase plan.
