Robert Half Azure Cloud Architect in Denver, Colorado

Description

We are currently seeking an Azure Architect to join this team. This role will be essential in analyzing business requirements and translating them into robust and cost-effective cloud architecture designs. The Azure Cloud Architect will also have a significant role in managing, maintaining, and troubleshooting issues across our Cloud, Servers, Virtual Systems, and other core infrastructure services.

Responsibilities:

• Translate business requirements into robust cloud architecture designs.

• Manage, maintain, and troubleshoot issues across Cloud, Servers, Virtual Systems, Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, and other core infrastructure services.

• Develop and maintain cloud infrastructure as code (IaC) using technologies like Terraform and Bicep.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful cloud adoption and operations.

• Utilize monitoring tools to optimize performance, cost, and availability of cloud resources.

• Ensure security through proper certificate and secret management across on-prem and cloud.

• Act as a point of contact and oversee vendor partner relationships.

• Create and maintain documentation for standard Technical Support policies, procedures, and practices.

• Manage the lifecycle of server hardware, including coordination with various locations.

• Participate in after-hours support rotation as required.

• Utilize your knowledge of Azure IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS services to ensure successful business outcomes.

Requirements

• Proven expertise in Amazon EC2, Ansible, Atlassian Jira, Auto Scaling, and AWS Technologies.

• Demonstrated experience in API Development, Automation, Backup Technologies, and Cluster Analysis.

• Proficient in Windows Azure and Microsoft Azure.

• Strong understanding of cloud computing technologies, business drivers, and emerging computing trends.

• Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze complex multivariate problems and use a systematic approach to gain quick resolution.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to effectively articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical individuals.

• Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is required.

• Relevant certifications in Azure Cloud Architecture will be considered a plus.

• Must be legally eligible to work without sponsorship, as sponsorship is not available for this position.
