Litigation Attorney

Our client, a leading Colorado Law Firm is seeking a 3 plus years commercial litigation associate to join the Firm’s litigation practice group. The ideal candidate should have at two years of experience working on commercial lawsuits in state and federal courts. Candidates should have excellent writing skills and want to work directly with clients and firm shareholders on all phases of a lawsuit. The Litigation Attorney will participation in internal and client strategy discussions; drafting pleadings, motions, briefs, written discovery, and jury instructions; taking and defending depositions; and appearing in court for hearings and trials.

This is a hybrid position with a 1700 billable hour requirement. Requirements - Background working with Litigation Attorney

• Hands-on experience with e-Filing

• Adeptness in Civil Litigation Experience

• Demonstrated knowledge of Complex Litigation

• Earlier work involving litigation support and document services

• Good understanding of litigation support software

• General familiarity with Negotiating Commercial

• Civil litigation experience

• Experience with Civil Rights Litigation

• Practical knowledge of Litigation Processes

• Litigation Matters experience highly valued

• Foundational knowledge in Complex Commercial Litigation

• Litigation Experience experience highly preferred

• Knowledge of business & commercial law

• Experience with Defense Litigation

• Proficiency in Commercial Litigation

• Previous experience working with Litigation Documents

• Comprehension of Litigation Practice

• Able to handle multiple assignments, work well under pressure, and have the flexibility to assist the team in meeting client demands on accelerated schedules

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills (verbal, written, and listening)

• Must possess analytical, legal research and writing skills

• Great attention to detail

• First-rate academic credentials and references

• Licensed attorney with 3+ years of experience
