The Assistant Registrar for Enrollment will primarily provide leadership and expertise in enrollment and registration services. Work in the content areas listed below will include, but not be limited to strategic planning and decision-making, assessment, integration and synthesizing of knowledge and information from various subject areas, communication with internal and external constituents, the ability to create and execute projects independently and as part of a team.

Assistant Registrar for Enrollment

What you will do:

  • Intercampus registration coordination and processing

  • Interinstitutional registration coordination and processing

  • Lynx Summer Bridge Program registration

  • Pre-collegiate registration

  • Grade collection and reporting

  • Academic standing (Dean's List, Probation, Dismissal)

  • Campus Solutions program and plan stack maintenance

  • Maintenance of new student enrollment records

  • Grade forgiveness processing

  • S/U and P+/P/F grade maintenance

  • Incomplete grade processing

  • Processing transfers within the University

  • Managing the email inbox for this area

  • Oversight and maintenance of forms and processes for this area

  • This position will also provide support in other functional areas of the office as needed.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary range (or hiring range) for this position has been established at $55,748 - $56,470.

The salary of the finalist(s) selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to, internal equity, experience, education, specialty and training.

The above salary range (or hiring range) represents the University's good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting.

This position is not eligible for overtime compensation.

Qualifications

Qualifications you already possess (Minimum Qualifications)

  • A bachelor's degree in a related field from an accredited institution.

  • Two (2) years of professional level experience analyzing and managing business processes.

Preferred Qualification to possess (Preferred Qualifications)

  • Three (3) or more years of progressive experience managing complex projects and/or experience.

  • Two years of experience working at an institute of higher education. 2- or 4-year college/university.

  • Experience in PeopleSoft Campus Solutions.

  • Experience in OnBase forms, workflows, and imaging.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Ability to communicate effectively, both in writing and orally.

  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees at all levels throughout the institution.

  • Outstanding customer service skills.

  • Demonstrated commitment and leadership ability to advance diversity and inclusion.

  • Ability to make decisions regarding day-to-day functional work.

  • Sound professional judgement regarding when to escalate a situation or decision and/or when to inform others about a situation or decision.

  • Thorough understanding of academic policy, policy interpretation, procedures and program requirements.

Conditions of Employment

  • Occasional work during the evening and/or weekends may be required. Work is required on two Saturdays during the year, one in May and one in December, in support of the Graduation Commencement Ceremonies.

  • This position follows a hybrid work structure where employees work in person a minimum of 3 days per week and can work remotely up to two days per week, as needed, based on demands of specific tasks or personal work preferences. Working from the office is encouraged when working on tasks that require a high degree of collaboration.
