Description We are offering a contract for a highly skilled Applications Architect in the Service industry, located in Denver, Colorado. The selected individual will play a crucial role in evaluating, planning, and implementing a suitable Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) solution for our team.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of the current VDI environment to identify opportunities for improvement

• Lead the selection process of a suitable VDI solution, considering alternatives such as VMware, Citrix, and Microsoft Azure Virtual Desktop

• Develop a detailed report recommending the most suitable VDI solution based on the conducted assessments

• Present findings and recommendations to the relevant stakeholders, ensuring their understanding and buy-in

• Develop a comprehensive plan for transitioning to the selected VDI solution, including a detailed roadmap for implementation

• Coordinate the end-to-end implementation of the chosen VDI solution, working collaboratively with various IT teams for seamless integration

• Monitor the progress of the VDI solution implementation, addressing any arising issues promptly and efficiently

• Develop and deliver training programs for engineers and administrators on the new VDI solution, as well as creating support documentation

• Continuously monitor the performance of the new VDI environment, implementing optimizations and best practices to enhance user experience

• Ensure the security and compliance of the VDI infrastructure, maintaining high standards at all times. Requirements • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role as an Applications Architect

• Proficiency in Vmware Infrastructure is required

• Must have extensive knowledge and experience with Citrix and Citrix Technologies

• Experience with VDI is mandatory

• Expertise in Virtualization VDI is necessary

• Familiarity and adeptness in using Assessment Tools is essential Technology Doesn't Change the World, People Do.®
