What will you do?

A day in the life of a Partnership and Events Coordinator at Altra looks a little like this.

The Partnership and Events Coordinator role is part of the Marketing department, based in Denver, CO. This is a cross functional role, working directly with the Go to Market team, Events & Athlete team, social media, creative teams, as well as external partners and vendors. The role is responsible for activating and representing Altra Running at key brand events, as well as developing plans for grassroots level events with retail partners.

The Partnership and Events Coordinator report to the Athlete and Events Manager.

Let’s break down that day-in-the-life a bit more.

  • Act as day-to-day point of contact with key activation partner including weekly planning calls, event planning, budgeting and on the ground execution of events across the region.

  • Work cross functionally to drive integrated event planning and execution with key activation partner ensuring strategic level goals and objectives are met

  • Working with Event Manager, plan and execute brand level events including expo, community group and race day events

  • Work cross-functionally with FSR & Sales teams to provide event assets and tools for retailer events and activations

  • Maintain budget tracker and process invoices and payments

What do you need to succeed?

We all have unique skills that we bring to work and celebrate every day. For this role, there are foundation skills you’ll need to succeed and excel. Additionally, while formal education in a related field is great to have, we are most interested in your 2-3 years of experience in retail or brand marketing and events, and professional achievements.

The foundation skills you will need in this position are:

  • Collaborative Planning: Meet with internal and external partners to understand the event vision, goals, budget, and desired timeline, creating a detailed event plan accordingly

  • Organizational Skills: Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, prioritize effectively, and maintain detailed timelines

  • Leadership Skills: Ability to delegate tasks and provide clear direction

  • Budget Management: Manage event and activation budgets, tracking expenses and ensuring costs stay within allocated limits

  • Location requirement: This position is based in Denver, CO and does require significant travel.

There are also a few skills that are not required but preferred.

  • Previous experience in event, tradeshow or expo planning and coordination.

  • Run specialty or running industry experience

Hiring Range :

$56,160.00 USD - $70,200.00 USD annually

Incentive Potential : This position is eligible for additional compensation awards that may include an annual incentive plan, sales incentive, or commission potential. Specific details of the additional compensation eligibility for this position will be provided during the recruiting and interview process.
