We are offering a long-term contract employment opportunity for an Accounts Payable Specialist, located in Denver, Colorado. The role requires a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team. As an Accounts Payable Specialist, you will focus on reducing the backlog of open invoices and managing accounts payable duties.

Responsibilities

• Efficiently process a high volume of invoices and allocate them to respective team members.

• Utilize accounting software systems to maintain accurate accounting records.

• Reconcile accounts to ensure all payments are accurate.

• Take part in the implementation and troubleshooting of software related issues.

• Index invoices to ensure they are properly categorized and easy to retrieve.

• Use Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems to streamline accounting functions.

• May handle processing of some expense reports as part of accounts payable duties.

• Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance and accuracy of financial data.

• Use knowledge of accrual accounting to ensure financial statements are accurate.

• Process payments through Automated Clearing House (ACH).

Requirements • Proficiency in Account Coding is necessary.

• Experience with Accounting Software Systems is required.

• Familiarity with ADP - Financial Services is crucial.

• Hands-on experience with Concur is needed.

• Proficiency in ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning is mandatory.

• Knowledge of Accounting Functions is required.

• Prior experience with Accounts Payable (AP) is necessary.

• Understanding of Accrual Accounting is crucial.

• Experience with Auditing is important.

• Familiarity with Automated Clearing House (ACH) is required.
