The centers provide campus-based direct services and supports at 13 centers located throughout the state. The Clinic Clerk is responsible for assisting with the organization of on campus medical clinics and providing clerical support to the medical providers. Essential Job FunctionsAttends work on a regular basis and may be required to work a specific shift schedule or, at times, even a rotating schedule, extended shift and/or overtime in accordance with agency leave policy and performs other duties assigned.1. Charts pick up and return and#150; pick up can be several times per day.2. Typing, formatting and saving all APSand#146;s in the appropriate drives and distributing copies. This is one of the most time consuming, 30 minutes3. Completing dental history forms for sedation.4. Filling out x-ray, consults, labs and diet request for any orders written daily in the clinic. Including data forms for CT, MRI, Dental, Mammograms.5. Completing all routine lab slips, x-ray, and EKG forms monthly. This is done monthly but still takes up to 2 hours.6. Filling out new patient paperwork for specialty offices.7. Assisting in assuring Sedation and NPO orders are written and consents obtained / all disciplines have signed and are turned in.8. Faxing orders to the appropriate location.9. Retrieving med profiles thru IRIS as needed.10. Retrieving results from Caregate as needed.11. Ordering of supplies / turning in work orders.12. Filing copies of all documents in the clinic files.13. Delivering forms to the appropriate location such as labs, consults, x-rays etc.14. Picking up doctorand#146;s incoming mail / checking Infirmary box.15. Answer phone and#150; constant.16. Entering information into RADS for injury reports.17. Filing progress notes / orders on charts.18.
