Aerotek 3rd Shift Maintenance Technician in Denison, Texas

Job Title: Maintenance Technician on 2nd and 3rd Shift ($27-32/hr)

Job Description

• Perform duties to install and maintain production machines and the plant facility’s equipment, including mechanical, plumbing, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems. Troubleshoot and repair production machines.

• Read and interpret drawings, schematics, and blueprints.

• Perform regular preventive maintenance on machines, equipment, and plant facilities.

• Use a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters, and material handling equipment.

• Detect faulty operations, defective material, and report any unusual situations to management.

Hard Skills

  • Strong mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic aptitude

  • Ability to change out a motor (480V)

  • Experience working in a highly automated, production environment, preferably food and beverage manufacturing

  • Knowledge of conveyor systems, PLCs, and automation

Job Type

Shifts: 1st - 6:00am-2:30pm Monday-Friday,

2nd - 2:00pm-11:00pm Monday-Friday,

3rd - 10:30pm-6:30am Monday-Friday.
