ARAMARK Assistant Housekeeping Manager - Denali Park Village in Denali, Alaska

Job Description

The Assistant Housekeeping Manager will oversee all housekeeping operations, ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and customer satisfaction. This role involves managing housekeeping staff, coordinating with other departments, and implementing efficient processes and procedures.

This is a seasonal role May through September.

Denali Park Village is a highly rated resort located just outside Denali National Park & Preserve nestled on the banks of the Nenana River, just minutes from the park entrance. Open May to September, our guests enjoy comfortable rooms, excellent dining, and live entertainment.?

6.2 million acres of Denali National Park & Preserve is home to Mount Denali, the highest point in North America. The park welcomes over half a million visitors per year. By road, the area is 5 hours from Anchorage and 2 hours from Fairbanks. Buses traverse the 90-mile road daily throughout the warm summer months, allowing people to hike, view wildlife, climb, and camp.

Job Responsibilities

Leadership and Management:

  • Recruit, train, supervise, and evaluate housekeeping staff.

  • Schedule and assign tasks to housekeeping personnel.

  • Conduct regular team meetings and training sessions to maintain high standards of service.

Operational Oversight:

  • Ensure all areas of the facility are cleaned and maintained according to company standards.

  • Inspect rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces for cleanliness and orderliness.

  • Manage inventory of cleaning supplies, linen, and other housekeeping materials.

Quality Control:

  • Implement and monitor housekeeping procedures to ensure quality and efficiency.

  • Address and resolve any guest complaints or issues related to housekeeping.

  • Conduct regular audits and inspections to maintain high standards.

Collaboration and Communication:

  • Coordinate with other departments, such as Front Desk, Maintenance, and Food & Beverage, to ensure seamless operations.

  • Communicate effectively with guests and staff to meet and exceed expectations.

Qualifications

? Requires 1-3 years of related experience and 0-2 years? experience in a management role.

? Requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
