POSITION: Adult Protection Caseworker

The Adult Protection Caseworker provides intake and ongoing social casework services for adults unable to protect their own interests.

DUTIES: * Responds to crisis situation when neglect, abuse, and/or exploitation are identified; if client is unable or unwilling to consent to removal, enlist appropriate services such as police, ambulance, court, and/or mental hea * Interviews, assesses, evaluates medical, financial, and/or social needs of adults that are referred to this agency to formulate a case plan to enable the client to live as independently as possible. * Provides information, either to an individual or an interested group, on adult abuse issues, guardianship, conservators, medical directives, etc.

REQUIREMENTS: * Bachelor's degree in one of the human behavioral science fields is required OR approved waiver from the State of Colorado. * Two (2) years of related professional social casework experience in a public or private social services agency is required. * Candidate must pass a background investigation. * Must possess and maintain a valid Colorado Driver's License with a satisfactory driving record.

• Combination of education and experience could waive specific requirement.

WAGE: * $22.10 to $24.31 hourly with a State of Colorado waiver for required bachelor's degree . * $24.54 to $26.99 hourly with a related bachelor's degree per hour, depending upon qualifications.

SHIFTS: Full-time - 40 hours per week
