Robert Half Asset/Inventory Management Analyst in Delray Beach, Florida

Description

We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for an Asset/Inventory Management Analyst in Delray Beach, Florida. The role is primarily centered around IT asset management and inventory control within our team. This position plays a crucial role in the management and documentation of information technology assets, tracking and monitoring of asset activities, and ensuring compliance with software licenses.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and track information technology assets throughout their lifecycle, from acquisition to disposal

• Maintain and update the enterprise-wide inventory database with all asset inventory activities

• Conduct regular audits of IT assets and software licenses to ensure legal compliance

• Provide timely and professional responses to customer inquiries

• Coordinate and oversee the tagging and tracking of new equipment upon receipt

• Accurately project inventory needs and prepare budget estimates as required

• Generate necessary reports related to asset management and inventory control upon request

• Stay informed about expiration dates of software licenses and notify management in a timely manner

• Collaborate with technical support to resolve any hardware or software issues

• Ensure the provision of excellent and consistent customer service at all times

Requirements

• Proficient in Computer Hardware

• Familiarity with Apple Devices is essential

• Experience in Asset Management is required

• Expertise in Asset Inventory is a must

• Knowledge in Intune is desirable

• Strong Technical Support skills are required

• Ability to analyze and solve complex problems

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Attention to detail and high level of accuracy

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks

• Familiarity with inventory management software is a plus

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience

• Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards

• Experience in a similar role is preferred
