Sportsfield Specialties, Inc. has an immediate opening for a Contract Manager in Delhi, NY to oversee and manage all aspects of contractual agreements between SSI and its Business Partners. <p> Responsibilities/Duties include but not limited to: <br> Must be knowledgeable/experienced with contract language, flow, details, and benefits for internal/external contracts (i.e., Install, GC, SC, etc.); Supervise contract administration employee(s); Create, evaluate, negotiate and execute internal/external contracts; Work closely with Sales/Customer Service through the bid, award, construction and close-out stages of each project requiring a binding contract; Create and maintain relationships with customers/suppliers and serve as the point of contact for matters concerning contracts; Review sales contracts, sub-contractor agreements, special billing, pre-qualifications and analyze legal obligation clauses that bind the company to perform as indicated; Responsible and oversee contract personnel for ensuring each project meets deadlines per contract agreement; Manage license and registration requirements as it relates to the projects ensuring Federal/State/Local compliance; Work directly with bonding and insurance companies to obtain payment & performance bonds, bid bonds, and certificates of insurance as required; Verify all accounting aspects of projects/contracts; Collaborate with purchasing dept. to ensure compliance and legal requirements with vendor contracts; Support annual insurance and financial audits; <p> Required Skills/Qualifications: <br>

Outstanding communication, organizational, attention to detail and problem-solving skills; Demonstrable initiative and flexibility; Must be able to negotiate with confidence; Ability to interpret legal contracts; Exposure to financial tasks (i.e., reconciliation, pay apps., etc.)<p> Experience/Education: <br> Bachelors Degree in Business and/or related field required, and minimum 4 years experience preferred; Contract and Legal compliance experience; Accounting software proficient; AIA contract & billing experience<p> Salary range is $65-75k, DOE.
