ROLE OVERVIEW:

The Security Infrastructure Specialist is a technical role reporting to the Security Infrastructure Manager. The Security Infrastructure Specialist serves as a subject matter expert that provides support for many security-related solutions with the Greif digital technology department.

This role requires a strong technical background, and an understanding of organizational priorities and business needs along with a security minded approach. The Security Infrastructure Specialist will ensure that security measures are designed, incorporated, and monitored within the enterprise business platforms. The role will work with other digital workspace stakeholders to balance risks with business drivers such as performance, agility, supportability, and acceptance.

The Security Infrastructure Specialist must be able to prioritize work efforts while balancing a wide range of competing activities. Documentation and presentation skills, analytical and critical thinking, identifying issues and taking initiative are important aspects of successful execution in this role.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver subject matter expertise of Microsoft 365 with emphasis in security, architectural design, migration, management and support of implementations.
  • Provide overall Microsoft 365 security expertise including strong knowledge of Azure Active Directory, Azure Information Protection, Information Rights Management, single sign-on and multi-factor authentication and related technologies (including Microsoft Enterprise Mobility + Security)
  • Document system configurations, standards and procedures.
  • Configure and support Citrix technologies such as NetScaler.
  • Implement and manage strategic identity controls related to privileged access management (PAM).
  • Monitor and mitigate security vulnerabilities within the identity realm.
  • Other duties as assigned.

     

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelors Degree in the field of computer science, information systems, or information security and 5 years equivalent work experience
  • Excellent organizational skills and a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail required.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment while meeting deadlines with minimal direct supervision required.
  • Security certifications such as a CISSP or CISM is preferred

     

Knowledge and Skills:

Strong working knowledge of Microsoft 365, cloud security concepts, Microsoft Windows Server environments, Microsoft Exchange, Intune, virtual servers, and other enterprise-wide applications.

Knowledge of enterprise security technologies, e.g., Virtual Private Network (VPN), Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI), Encryption, Firewalls, Intrusion Detection/Prevention, and Endpoint Security Platforms.

Knowledge of technological trends and developments in technology
