Millennium- Vice President of Technology in Delavan, Wisconsin

Key Responsibilities

Leadership + Management = Accountability (LMA)

  • Develop trust and maintain a positive, accessible leadership presence throughout all parts of the business.

  • Lead, inspire, and motivate team members to ensure a positive and collaborative environment resulting in a high performance and continuous improvement culture that values the contribution of each team member.

    Technology and Data Execution

  • Executes technology portion of business plan and optimizes its use

  • Leads and partner with peers to achieve business results using technology

Effective Use of Technology

  • Review new technology, and ensure appropriate new technology is implemented cost-effectively

  • Build solutions that enable world-class employee and customer experience

Lead technology project execution

  • Ensure continuous prioritization and delivery of the most impactful work

  • Proactively communicate project status and take ownership of risks/issues

Ensure secure, highly available, and up-to-date technology services

  • Develop and leverage partners to leverage capabilities and talent not housed internally

  • Ensure technology solutions are maintained, up to date, and secure

Key Qualifications

  • Minimum 10 years’ general technology experience including 5+ years in a leadership role.

  • Technology leadership experience with Applications, Infrastructure (cloud, SAAS) Project Management/PMO, core ERP systems, digital and data exposure/awareness.

  • Appetite for hands-on leadership that moves the company forward

  • Proven ability to explain technical concepts across all levels of the organization

  • High level of financial acumen, ideally including P&L leadership

  • Proven Track record of optimizing technology and establishing and cultivating collaborative relationships to achieve business objectives

  • Proven ability to lead, coach, and develop an effective and innovative technology team

  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work in a dynamic environment

  • Strong work ethic and the highest ethical standards are assumed

  • Experience in the telecom industry or a related field is preferred, but not required; familiarity with industrial distribution is a plus

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred; MBA is a plus
