Designing, developing and implementing test plans, scripts, and/or procedures for Illinois Interactive Report Cards (IIRC) projects using JIRA, Selenium IDE, SQL Server, SharePoint, MS Office Suite, and OneDrive; Working in an Agile environment and collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and design comprehensive test plans that encompass all aspects of the IIRC projects; Conducting regression testing to ensure that the new developments do not adversely affect existing functionalities of the web applications; Developing automated test suites using the Selenium IDE to expedite testing cycles and maintain product stability; Identifying critical test scenarios, test data, and define overall testing strategy to ensure maximum test coverage; Performing data testing proactively to identify gaps and inconsistencies in datasets, work diligently to identify the root cause of discrepancies; Executing test plans in various staging environments, including Development, Using JIRA and Excel maintaining detailed documentation of test plans, scripts, and procedures for future references and audit purposes; and generating comprehensive test reports summarizing test results, including pass/fail status, test coverage, and any identified issues. Requirements: Bachelors Degree or foreign degree equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Information Technology or Engineering and six months experience in position or six months experience in IT field; and experience with JIRA, Selenium IDE, SQL Server, SharePoint, MS Office Suite, and OneDrive.
