As an On-Call Shop Driver, you will be responsible for providing support to the School Bus Sales department including the effective and efficient distribution of heavy-duty parts within a predetermined territory. Duties & Responsibilities: On Call role, Monday through Friday, with a minimum of two (2) hours per week. Washing and cleaning 100-300 school buses annually for delivery to clients. Follow-up driver responsible for following school bus delivery driver when making school bus delivery to client site and bringing back to shop when completed. Always portray a welcome and positive image of the company Utilize delivery and shipment methods to maximize efficiency and customer satisfaction. Manage all delivery related paperwork. Communicate with customers to ensure proper delivery. Maintain general work area in a clean and safe condition. Other duties as assigned. Requirements Safe Drivers needed; valid driver\'s license required. Ability to frequently climb in and out of a vehicle. Ability to exert 36 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 22 to 30 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 11 to 15 pounds of force constantly to move objects. Strong interpersonal skills demonstrated by the ability to build successful business relationships. Ability to meet performance expectations by effectively managing time and priorities with minimal supervision. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and complete work with a sense of urgency.
