What You'll Do Under the direction of the Production Manager, the Machine Operator uses industrial machinery, such as a Roll Former, along with hand tools, to produce products to a specification defined in product drawings. They are required to inspect materials and adhere to a manufacturing standard. In addition, he or she must perform the job duties and responsibilities listed below while maintaining a positive working relationship with coworkers and customers. Interpret product drawings Perform machine set up Operate machine to produce products as specified Enter production data in to computer system. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area Count and package material as defined Perform Operator machine maintenance and safety inspections Follow Safety Program rules and processes Work within and promote corporate vision, mission, and values of the organization Perform other duties as assigned Your Experience The following generally describes the knowledge and ability required to enter the job and/or learned within a short period of time to successfully perform the assigned duties. High School or equivalent diploma High level of mechanical aptitude 2 years' experience operating Manufacturing equipment, Roll Forming machine preferred Ability to use precision measuring devices Strong computer and math skills Additional Requirements Must be able to pass pre-employment checks including a Drug Screen and Criminal Background.
