Robert Half Data/Information Architect in Deer Park, Texas
Description We are in search of a Data/Information Architect to be a part of our team. Situated in Deer Park, Texas, this role is integral to our IT department, focusing on the overall architecture and integrations of our application landscape. The selected candidate will ensure that our technology stack aligns with our objectives, IT strategy, and industry best practices. This role offers a long term contract employment opportunity.
Responsibilities:
• Oversee architectural design and integration management of site applications
• Align project governance with overall IT governance including risk management, security protocols, and regulatory requirements
• Develop and maintain comprehensive architectural documentation including system designs, integration diagrams, and technical specifications
• Provide technical leadership and guidance to project teams, adhering to architectural principles, roadmaps, standards, and best practices
• Ensure alignment of existing design to key projects
• Drive designs that encompass full end to end business process and cross functional business processes
• Collaborate closely with other teams to deliver key projects and enforce infrastructure, network, and cybersecurity requirements
• Utilize Cloud Technologies, DB2 Database, Erwin Data, Informatica, MDM Technologies, Agile Scrum, Analytics, AWS Technologies, and Business Intelligence (BI) for efficient execution of tasks
• Develop functional specifications for new or enhanced systems and processes based on defined business needs and capabilities. Requirements • Proficient in Cloud Technologies, capable of designing and implementing cloud-based solutions.
• Demonstrable expertise in DB2 Database, ensuring optimized performance and secure data storage.
• Familiarity with Erwin Data, with the ability to use it for effective data modeling and architecture.
• Proven experience with Informatica, capable of managing, integrating, and transforming enterprise data.
• Skilled in MDM Technologies, with a focus on providing reliable master data management solutions.
• Ability to work in Agile Scrum environments, demonstrating flexibility and efficiency in project management.
• Strong analytical skills, with the ability to analyze complex data and produce insightful reports.
• Experience with AWS Technologies, capable of leveraging its services for improved data architecture.
• Knowledge of Business Intelligence (BI), with the ability to convert raw data into meaningful information.
• Proficiency in developing Business Requirement Documents, ensuring clear communication of project requirements and expectations. Technology Doesn't Change the World, People Do.®
