As a Large Mining Truck Quality Engineer, you will be responsible for executing the End to End Built in Quality (BIQ) process in close collaboration with the Manufacturing Operations Quality team. Specifically, this role will be focused on sorting field defects to ensure robust stop capability and providing overall governance to defect problem solving. Role requires exceptional problem solving skills, high energy to swiftly resolve quality issues, and the ability to effectively leverage big data to drive improved customer experience.
Job Duties/Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:
• Investigate significant field defects and related warranty.
• Create BIQ and CPI's to drive action into the Decatur facility.
• Own the process improvement and governance prioritization process to ensure the organization is focused on driving for permanent corrective actions to true root cause.
• Conducting measurement systems analysis; gathering, analyzing, and communicating non-conformance data.
• Analyzing non-conformance data and maintaining quality system documentation.
• Participating in and offering technical support to internal and external audits; following up response of corrective action from audit.
• Work in a team environment to develop and implement best practices that emphasize defect prevention, reduction in variation and waste and provide for continuous improvements in
Top Candidates Will Have:
• QRQM system familiarity
• Familiarity with the CAT dealer network
• Knowledge of CPI and BIQ processes
• Excel and Power BI experience
Degree Requirement:
- Degree or equivalent experience desired

• Guides others to recognize repeat situations even when they are distributed over time or happen to different people.
• Works with a variety of RCA approaches such as safety-based, production-based, process-based, failure-based, and systems-based.

Summary Pay Range:
$95,640.00 - $143,520.00
