Adecco US, Inc. Accounts Payable Specialist - Alpharetta in Decatur, Georgia

Adecco is partnering with a respected client in Alpharetta, GA, to find a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Specialist . In this crucial role, you'll join a dynamic team responsible for managing cash flow, vendor payments, and financial processes that ensure smooth operations. Your contributions will play a key role in maintaining positive relationships with vendors and suppliers while driving efficiency in our accounts payable (AP) function.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review and verify invoices for accurate documentation before processing payments

  • Enter invoices and general ledger data promptly and accurately

  • Reconcile credit card statements and related transactions

  • Conduct weekly payment runs with precision

  • Support month-end closing procedures

  • Provide assistance to senior financial officers as required

  • Utilize NetSuite to optimize financial processes and transaction management

  • Build and maintain strong vendor and supplier relationships through timely, accurate payments

  • Contribute to process improvements to streamline AP workflows

  • Uphold strict confidentiality and integrity in all financial reporting activities

  • Ensure compliance with both national and local financial regulations

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree or higher in finance or accounting preferred

  • Proven experience in accounts payable (AP) and Procure-to-Pay processes

  • Strong understanding of finance, accounting principles, and bookkeeping

  • Customer-focused mindset with a commitment to delivering excellent service

  • Experience with intercompany processes and the ability to manage complex workflows

  • Exceptional time management and attention to detail

  • Familiarity with NetSuite and other financial software platforms

  • Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and discretion
