Ford Motor Company Technology Program Management in Dearborn, Michigan

As part of our IPI (In-Plant implementation team) team, you’ll help build the world-class, state-of-the-art smart vehicles the world expects from us. Within our plants around the world, we’re constantly developing new technologies and processes to further increase our efficiency. We are seeking an individual with good accounting skills to lead the New Model Program invoices and related back office functions, who has an eye for details and accuracy. The successful candidate will be able to organize and track multiple programs, purchase orders and invoices. The successful candidate will be able to work closely with coworkers to solve issues related to purchase orders, invoices and new model program finances. This includes working with other teams and departments to ensure our new model program launches are successful.

  • Enter in the New Model Programs invoices/receipts via CPARS and Aurora Systems

  • Understand how PO’s are entered into the Ariba system

  • Understand how PO’s are processed and approve.

  • Understand PCAM , PFR2 and IERP/SAP for Ford accounting

  • Follow up with vendors on open PO's related to new model programs (NMP) for delivery dates of materials and services

  • Facilitate Weekly/Bi-weekly L3 (status) meetings for NMP Plants/Programs (Including Dual Plant Code), keeping and publishing meeting minutes and assignments

  • Follow up on open items related to L3 meetings

  • Facilitate kick off of approved PTO/VO Programs once long lead funds or program approval funding are received

  • Work with financial analysts (ITBO and MSAP) to ensure approved PTO/VO studies are entered in PFR2 so funding can be loaded

  • Create line items for new PTO/VO programs and set up checkbook within workbook

  • Allocate monthly labor spend for NMP personnel via designated ITBO system

  • Review overtime file and update monthly allocations to account for OT worked for each implementation team

  • Send out monthly Rally to Worker file to each IPI supervisor to ensure employee counts are accurate

  • Follow up on labor allocations to ensure allocations hit financial system

  • Process monthly data reporting on monthly spend for all new model programs

  • Follow up with vendors on their open invoices

  • Assist/Train team members when needed (Reconciliations, forecasts, etc)

  • Create and update financial dashboard template used for tracking larger programs with more visibility

  • Enter all labor/travel and transferrable funding via ITBO (business office) ITSA tool

  • Process monthly transferable ITSA's to other departments via ITBO transfer tool

  • Double check PTO and VO Cycle Plan for accuracy for NMP entries

  • Weekly BPR updates and file submission for all NMP's

  • Update forecast with monthly spend

  • Assist outside departments with various tasks (Receiving invoices, etc)

  • Work closely with IPI leads on status of programs, invoices, etc.

  • Strong interpersonal skills to build close working relationship with others in the financial teams

  • 5+ years working with Ford IT Business Office and with Ford accounting systems

  • Familiarity with Ford Enterprise Technology's role in New Model Programs

  • High School Diploma

  • Attention to detail

  • Excellent written and verbal communication
