Materials Management Platform is a multi-year transformation initiative aimed at transforming Ford's Materials Requirement Planning & Inventory Management capabilities. This is part of a larger Industrial Systems IT Transformation effort. We are looking for resource with SAP UI5/Fiori Coding experience along with ABAP Experience in CDS Views/AMDP

What you’ll be able to do :

• Develop SAP OData Models using SAP Gateway Service builder and CDS Views

• Develop SAP Fiori/UI5 apps using SAP Web IDE consuming Gateway OData/Restful APIs, JSON services, and Git.

• Writes detailed technical specifications for program development.

• Performs and documents system development (programming)

• Implements system interface design and development.

• Verify solutions via testing.

• Provides on-call support as needed.

• Prepares/coordinates technical reports, process documentation, test plans, training needs assessment, and implementation plans.

• Ensures target achievement is consistently attained.

• Capable of multi project management -manage multiple projects simultaneously.

• Performs other duties as assigned by management.

• Design and develop SAP Fiori applications using SAP UI5 framework.

• Collaborate with functional teams to gather and analyze business requirements.

• Integrate Fiori applications with SAP backend systems (ECC, S/4HANA)

• Ensure seamless integration of SAP Fiori applications with other SAP modules.

• Provide end-user training and support for SAP Fiori applications.

• Stay updated on SAP Fiori and UI5 advancements and best practices.

• Enhance standard Fiori applications and adapt them to meet business requirements.

• Implement Fiori Launchpad configuration and customizations.

You'll have…

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related

• 8+ years of progressive responsibilities in SAP Modules (techno-functional with knowledge predominantly on ABAP with other SAP functional modules)

• UI5/Fiori Coding Skills

• CDS & AMDP Coding Techniques

• Design and develop SAP Fiori applications using SAP UI5 framework.

• Collaborate with functional teams to gather and analyze business requirements.

• Integrate Fiori applications with SAP backend systems (S/4HANA).

• Ensure seamless integration of SAP Fiori applications with other SAP modules.

• Provide end-user training and support for SAP Fiori applications.

• Stay updated on SAP Fiori and UI5 advancements and best practices.

• Enhance standard Fiori applications and adapt them to meet business requirements. Implement Fiori Launchpad configuration and customizations.

• Design, develop, and implement SAP Fiori/UI5 applications using the HTML5 development toolkit, XML, JavaScript, CSS and HTML5.

• Experience with extending, customize, and implement SAP Fiori standard components.

• Experience with supporting UX Discovery and Design Thinking workshops with suppliers.

• Experience with SAP Fiori Elements (List Report, Work List, Object page etc.) and SAP Annotations

• Experience with SAP Cloud Platform and Fiori Architecture on Cloud and On-Premise deployments

• Experience with Fiori Launchpad Designer, Catalogs, Groups, and Portal.

• Experience with Chrome/Edge debuggers

• Experience with SAP Business Application Studio

• Partners with IT design to implement current operational procedures, identify problems, and learn specific input and output requirements such as forms of data input, how data is to be processed, and how the results will be managed.

• Expert in current "as-is" process and works with the business to define the "to-be" process.

• Partners with the global network to ensure synergies with existing systems and alignment with group strategy.

• Reviews system capabilities, workflow, and scheduling limitations to determine if requested program or program change is possible within existing system -identifies and differentiates system configuration from programming solutions. Writes detailed technical specifications for program development. Performs and documents system development (programming).

• Implements system interface design and development. Capable of multi project management -manage multiple projects simultaneously. Performs other duties as assigned by management.

Even better, you may have..

• Experience with Mobile App development including SAP Fiori for iOS/Android.

• Experience with OpenText Administration Client configuration, administration, upgrading Archive Center server software, and Microsoft SQL Server Configuration.

• Identifies gaps in the IT solution. Assists and recommends business process redesign and documentation as needed. Translates functional specifications for into technical specifications for IT development. Familiar with technical system implementation in order to enhance functionality.

• Experience with ABAP Development tools in Eclipse environment.
