Performance Driven Workforce is now hiring Seasonal Senior Traveling Automotive Mechanics for an Automotive Tier 1 Supplier. Senior Traveling Automotive Mechanics will modify cars and trucks in a prototype environment, performing a wide range of diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance. The Senior Traveling Automotive Mechanics will mentor and oversee team member's technical deliverables to ensure customer standards are met. This is a hands-on position and requires the ability to travel within MI. This Seasonal Senior Traveling Automotive Mechanic position is based out of Livonia, MI. Candidates meeting the requirements for the Senior Traveling Automotive Mechanic position below are strongly encouraged to apply. AM Day shift + Overtime available.

Shift:

• AM Day shift: 6:00am to 6:00 pm (Monday - Sunday)

   

Responsibilities:

• Maintain vehicle functional condition by working off repair orders or leader instructions and conducting inspections
• Repair mechanical and electrical system malfunctions and replace parts and components
• Read, interpret, and follow service procedures
• Train, coach, and mentor team members related to their job responsibilities and is available as a subject matter expert to assist the team and customers
• Maintain vehicle records by entering notes, service, and repair orders
• Keep shop equipment operating by following operating instructions, troubleshooting breakdowns, performing preventive maintenance, calling for repairs

• Lead daily shop organization and clean-up

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Minimum 8 years of work experience as a Mechanic

   

Preferred Skills:

• Certificate in Automotive Technology or related
• State Mechanic Certification(s)
• Valid driver's license
