TEKsystems Portfolio Manager in Dearborn, Michigan

Experience Required:

2+ years of experience in software procurement, budgeting, business planning and finance experience with duties including but not limited to planning, contract/amendments, license usage tracking, forecasting, managing day to day spending, monthly reviews, and similar responsibilities.

Responsibilities:

• Manage a portfolio of 3rd party software licenses used globally in PD, MFG, etc. This involves working with:

o Internal business IT and business teams to obtain software requirements,

o Vendors and Internal IT Contracts to finalize contracts and amendments,

o Vendors to obtain quotes

o Internal IT Finance teams for spending approvals

o Internal Purchasing to finalize purchase orders and special contract terms

o Manage the budget for your supplier portfolio including Business Planning and Budget Setting annual activities

• Look for strategic opportunities to grow the business while saving the Company money

Skills Required:

• Vendor Relationship Management

• Problem Solving, and Risk Management

• MS Project / Project Management

• Provide detail analysis on usage trends

• Familiar with vendor Invoicing and Accounts Payable

Skills Preferred:

• Ability to collaborate and work well with others

• Excellent oral and written communication skills

• Ability to participate in and support negotiations with external suppliers

Education Required:

Bachelor’s degree or a combination of education and equivalent work experience

Skills:
