Job Description:

Position Description: This position is for a Pega Platform Engineer that has: Technical expertise: A deep understanding of Pega Platform architecture, databases, servers, and network configurations is essential for a Pega administrator. * Problem-solving skills: Pega administrators need to be able to identify and troubleshoot technical issues quickly and effectively. * Communication skills: A Pega administrator must be able to communicate technical information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, including developers, business users, and senior management. * Project management skills: Pega administrators need to be able to plan and execute projects, such as software upgrades, migrations, and new deployments. * Business process management: A good understanding of business processes and how they can be automated using Pega Platform * Security: Pega administrators should be knowledgeable about security protocols and best practices for protecting sensitive information in the Pega Platform. * Scripting: Familiarity with scripting languages and SQL can be helpful for Pega administrators as they may need to write custom scripts to automate tasks. * Continuous learning: The Pega Platform is constantly evolving, so Pega administrators need to stay up to date with new features and releases. Skills Required: * Strong experience with Pega PRPC, Pega Rules, Pega PDC, Pega Workflow, Pega Decisioning, and Pega case management, Pega Robotics supporting RPA/DPA/Chatbot components of PEGA * Understand RPA case designer, flows, Pega rules and identify errors during troubleshooting of production issues Understand the development, design, verification, and validation methods of the Pega platform * Experience in installation, configuration, and administration of Pega Robotics and PRPC Pega infinity 8.8, 8.7, 8.2,8.1, 7.4, 7.3.1, 7.2.2 and 7.1.8. * Experience in performance tuning of the Pega apps with Database, app/web servers by the way of Load and performance testing * Work across many cross functional teams to support the applications/platforms that run Pega; Linux, WebSphere, SQL DB, Security and Firewall * Perform Platform upgrades, hotfixes installation for the Pega platform * Work closely with application teams to assist in Application developing issues that may arise using the Pega platform * Experience in setup the environment in PDC (Pega Diagnostic cloud) Track Creation and Manage Problem Request for all SR & Repetitive Incidents related to Pega or Ford Infrastructure Monitoring using Dynatrace * Work with technologies like GCP Terraform, CloudSQL and migrating Pega platform workloads from on-prem to Cloud (vendor managed, GCP) * Experience in 24x7 on-call production support and Troubleshooting Network, Application connectivity, Kafka, Hazel cast. Search and stream issues in development and Pre-Production environments * Setup CI/CD pipeline and Udeploy manager for application onboarding and deployment * Work with customers on Pega DPA integration issues (Connectivity/JVM issues) * Follow change control processes Skills Preferred: Experience working in Pega Robot Manager * Triage RPA Code issues by working with skill teams, enablement teams. * Work with Pega GCS to resolve issues, create product bug requests for RPA and DPA products, with Pega as needed * Validate and perform Robotic manager upgrades to higher versions, hotfix installation as needed * Troubleshoot DPA issues related to Queue processors, job schedulers from PDC * Ability to write Terraform code in GCP * Strong knowledge of SQL Server, Udeploy and WebSphere deployments * Knowledge on Pega CI/CD pipeline setup, API connectivity * Manage RPA Bots, DPA applications and resolve complex technical issues at the platform Experience Required: 5+ Years of Pega Platform Administration
