Job Title: Administrative Support Human ResourcesJob Description

We are seeking a dedicated Administrative Support Specialist in Human Resources to join our team. This role involves administering and monitoring attendance, Family Medical Leave (FMLA), and medical leave of absence in accordance with various agreements and company policies. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to act as a liaison between different departments.

Responsibilities

  • Administer and monitor attendance, FMLA, and medical leave of absence in accordance with agreements and company policies.

  • Conduct corrective action discussions for chargeable absences, failure to follow notification processes, and tardiness.

  • Properly document outcomes of corrective action hearings.

  • Follow up with supervision to successfully close out open attendance and tardiness issues.

  • Audit attendance and tardiness records.

  • Correct attendance codes as required.

  • Serve as the attendance subject matter expert.

  • Maintain required documentation for FMLA administration.

  • Act as liaison between supervision and the local medical department.

  • Act as the single point of contact for employees requesting FMLA.

  • Act as the single point of contact for our third-party medical administrator.

  • Identify opportunities to streamline processes and procedures.

Essential Skills

  • High School Diploma or GED.

  • 2+ years of experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).

  • Strong oral and written communication skills.

  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree (preferred).

  • Previous manufacturing experience (1+ years, preferred).

  • Experience in attendance and FMLA monitoring.

  • 6 months+ previous experience in Ford Human Resources (preferred).

Work Environment

This is a fully remote position. The work schedule is 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $22.00/hr.
