Reports To: Safety Manager

Location: De Soto, Kansas

Salary Range: $25.00/hr. to $28.00/hr.

Final determination of a successful candidate’s starting pay will vary based on a number of factors, including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, education and experience. The pay scale listed for this position is generally for candidates that meet the specified qualifications and requirements listed on this specific job description. THE DATA CENTER TEAM

We build mission-critical data centers throughout the U.S. to ensure crucial information accessed by millions of people is always available and secure. For two decades, CEI has designed, installed and commissioned more than 11.5 million square feet of data center space totaling $2.3 billion worth of electrical systems.

ABOUT THE ROLE

The Safety Assistant will provide administrative support for the Project Site Safety Team. The candidate will record all Safety Meetings (CEI and Site), creating copies of field paperwork, and maintaining Smart-Tag performance engagement.

  • Provide support to Safety Team (documentation preparation, meeting support, scanning/photocopying services)

  • Coordinate 3rd party safety training

  • Maintain, file and update safety training records

  • Assist with filing of safety training records/documentation

  • Field support for OSHA posters, MSDS binders, clinic listings

  • Prepare and distribute Safety Training cards

  • Assist with Training Preparation - set up catering, copy/create training material

ABOUT YOU

  • Comfortable with online programs, and verifiable experience with MS Office suite… (must have Excel).

  • Excellent communication, writing and organizational skills.

  • Critical reasoning and attention to details

  • Good work ethics and flexibility

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Any combination of education and experience that would likely provide the required knowledge, skills and abilities as well as possession of any required licenses or certifications is qualifying.

Education: High School Diploma or GED required. Some college preferred.

Licensure/Certifications: None required.

Experience: Three (3) years of relevant prior work experience, construction safety support role is ideal.
